The Schneeberger Precision Positioning Systems division provides complete custom solutions from XY to XYZT configurations. With approximately 40 years of SEMI industry experience, these systems deliver nanometre stability and millisecond move-and-settle times, supporting 450mm wafers. Solutions encompass platform mechanics, controllers, and active vibration isolation integration, all assembled and tested in cleanroom environments.

Type R / RN (FORMULA-S)

Cross-Roller Guideway Type R / RN

Cross-roller guideways are designed for limited-stroke precision stage applications. Type R is the world's first standardised frictionless guideway, available in standard sizes 1-12, lengths 20-1500mm. Type RN is dimensionally interchangeable with Type R, offering 3x the load capacity, with optional FORMULA-S Cage Control to prevent cage migration.

MINISCALE PLUS integrates a measuring encoder within the MINIRAIL guideway (resolution 0.1 um), providing position feedback signals for closed-loop control, simplifying system design and reducing installation space.
