Ultra precision made by myonic
Dental bearings must withstand the most extreme operating conditions,
and are among the most critical performance components in dental instruments.
Speeds up to 500,000 rpm, vibrations, autoclaving, various cleaning media, and penetrating contaminants such as blood and tooth dust — these are the main challenges faced by these special ball bearings.
myonic addresses these challenges through customized designs and precise selection of materials and lubricants. The end result is a product fully tailored to the application, capable of meeting all requirements over the long term.
For decades, myonic has continuously supplied innovative and reliable dental bearings to customers worldwide, establishing an outstanding position in the market.
For decades, myonic has been the preferred supplier to virtually all renowned dental equipment manufacturers. OEM customers from around the world trust us and work with us to create success together.
As a dental bearing supplier, myonic is always passionate about understanding and developing applications. This is the only way to ensure continuous improvement.
Trust, openness and the pursuit of mutual success have always been our most important values. We are not just suppliers — we are partners.
As a member of the MinebeaMitsumi Group, myonic combines the group's industrial capacity and resources to deliver high-quality products at competitive prices in large volumes.
As the international leading dental equipment manufacturer, DentsplySirona plays a key role in setting standards for dental treatment technology and practice.
With over 100 years of history, KaVo (Biberach, Germany) is a global innovation leader in dental instruments and equipment.
American company Lares Research is a leading developer and manufacturer of dental handpieces and other dental office instruments.
Austrian family company W&H (Bürmoos, near Salzburg) is one of the world's most important providers of precision dental instruments.
At the 2022 Dentsply Sirona Global Supplier Forum, myonic stood out from approximately 12,000 suppliers to receive the "Exceptional Supplier Partner" award. Only one winner was selected in each of seven "Direct Material" categories — myonic won the "Rest of Spend" category covering metal products including bearings.
The organizers particularly highlighted myonic's excellent delivery and quality performance, outstanding development collaboration, and clear commitment to carbon neutrality by 2030.
Most OEMs strive for the longest product life to strengthen their market position and reputation.
Customers in some global regions demand reliable quality products, but price is the absolute top priority.
In the spare parts market, reliable supply of quality products is the most important factor. All three demands are equally important and indispensable.
As a member of the MinebeaMitsumi Group, myonic builds on decades of market-leading position, technical expertise and mature products, combined with the group's industrial capacity to deliver top quality at highly competitive prices.
Our customers not only have different applications, but also different requirements in terms of volume, lead time and pricing.
myonic Three Product Line Hierarchy
Fully customized development and manufacturing for next-generation dental instruments, covering complete engineering services from integrating existing designs to developing entirely new bearing concepts from scratch.
A semi-standard series combining customization flexibility with clear standardized design. Common variants in geometry, materials and packaging can be freely combined within the model configuration.
High-quality standard bearing series for the mass production market, offering the most competitive cost-effectiveness for the spare parts market with strict supply stability and price requirements.
Custom solutions for next-generation dental instruments
Our customer-specific solutions range from simply integrating new products into existing designs, to multi-year projects developing, manufacturing and validating entirely new bearing concepts from scratch.
OEM Product Development Partner: Our greatest asset is technical expertise and application experience. Our engineers can also provide manufacturing services for complete assemblies. We are not just suppliers — we are development partners.

The optimyn bearing line combines unparalleled customization options with a clear standardized design. When standard designs can be integrated into new markets or products, the optimyn line is the most efficient approach. The most common variants in geometry, material selection and packaging can be customized in the configuration while maintaining attractive pricing.
Example: optimyn WI F CER PHE — Wide flanged, ceramic balls, phenolic resin cage, P25 clearance, single packaging
The Elemental line simplifies product selection, eliminating the need to configure every detail of the bearing design. The MinebeaMitsumi Group integrates all its expertise to manufacture high-quality dental bearings with the cost advantages of efficient, standardized mass production.
Example: EL 740 Z — Elemental series, shielded, steel balls, steel cage, P25 radial clearance, oil lubricated
Materials used in dental instruments have special requirements: structural strength, wear resistance and autoclave resistance
Using the most widely used rolling bearing steel in the industry, procured to myonic's own specifications for fine grain structure and maximum hardness. Additionally, the MinebeaMitsumi Group has developed nitrogen-alloyed steel for even higher corrosion resistance.
Only the highest precision industrially manufactured balls on the market are used. Available in 440C corrosion-resistant steel balls or ceramic balls.
In addition to well-established greases widely used in the industry, myonic has also successfully developed and uses its own high-speed dental grease. H1 food-grade certified lubricants are also available upon request.
Some of the above materials are exclusively available from the MinebeaMitsumi Group due to exclusive agreements with suppliers. Through continuous development programs, we ensure ongoing progress in products and processes.
The spindle (also called chuck) functions to securely hold tools, drills or milling cutters during procedures and guide their operation precisely.
Key challenges include: tens of thousands of open/close cycles, corrosion from water or corrosive media, and high-speed operating environments. The durability of this component is the most important factor for patient safety.
myonic chucks offer the unique possibility of perfectly matching decades-established high-speed bearings with adjacent components.
Combined with rotors also manufactured by myonic, the end result is an ideally matched turbine assembly that can be installed directly into the instrument without any further adjustment.
The extreme conditions that myonic bearings must withstand in use require the most ideal supporting environment possible.
Although instrument housings are precision manufactured, it is still necessary to protect bearings from overload or excessive clearance. For this purpose, myonic provides appropriate accessories such as shims and spring washers, retaining rings and bushings to ensure ideal mounting conditions.
myonic's sales team possesses deep bearing technology and manufacturing knowledge, adding significant value to every customer meeting and helping new projects launch smoothly.
myonic prefers to collaborate with business partners on multiple levels. Customers can work closely with our engineering, logistics and quality departments as needed.
myonic offers customized logistics solutions to meet individual customer needs. Quality control measures can also be adjusted by agreement to comply with specific end-product regulations or certification requirements.
When customers face situations requiring technical support, myonic is happy to assist in identifying root causes. With years of dental industry experience, we are not just product manufacturers — we are technical solution providers.
A well-equipped testing laboratory is one of myonic's most important success factors. World-renowned automated endurance test benches, state-of-the-art analytical tools, and professionals who can interpret results — second to none.
