Hole spacing deviations from hardening distortion are compensated during drilling, ensuring multi-segment spliced rails install easily with tight tolerances.

Through Hardening

Through Hardening

A core technology. Cross-sections up to 55mm thick can be through-hardened, making rails more stable and straight, and allowing regrinding. Hardening lengths up to 3m.

Induction Hardening

Induction Hardening

Suitable for large cross-sections or extra-long parts, hardening only the required surfaces. Induction hardening lengths up to 6m, reducing the number of butt joints.

Tempering & End Grinding

Tempering & Straightening

Internal stresses from hardening are precisely relieved through tempering without affecting hardness.

End Grinding

Right-angle or angled butt joints ensure gap-free splicing of multi-segment rails. High-efficiency multi-piece simultaneous grinding.

Precision Grinding & Coating

Precision Grinding

The core of Schneeberger quality. With extensive experience and 40+ years of precision grinding technology, raceway surface roughness achieves Ra = 0.3 µm.

Coating & Sliding Materials

Various coatings for hardness, corrosion protection or aesthetic purposes. Sliding guides can be equipped with plastic or metal low-friction wear strips.

Laser Marking & Quality Inspection

Laser Marking

Laser marking for traceability or inventory management. Butt joint ends are marked with identification numbers ensuring part traceability.
