3.2 General Safety and Protective Measures
SCHNEEBERGER accepts no liability for damage caused by:
- Improper operation, assembly and maintenance
- Improper use of the service tool and the distance measuring system
- Unauthorized modifications to the service tool
Warning
- Risk of injury when measuring with the machine switched on
- Only update the read head firmware with the machine switched off
- When the axis is in motion, always stop outside the machine
When not in use, store the service tool in the provided carrying case and protect it from moisture and damage. Protect the service tool from magnetic fields.
