Mounting Notes - Carriages MR and BM

Before Assembly
Remove Corrosion Protection
Remove corrosion protection before the carriages are moved.
Clean the Rail
Clean rail thoroughly, ensuring no dust or foreign particles remain.
Lubricate Rail and Wipers
Lightly oil or grease rail and wipers.
Figure: Screw torque approx. 0.5 Nm, gap approx. 4 mm
Prior to Initial Start-up
Purpose of Transport Rails (2)
Separate carriages are delivered mounted on transport rails (2).
Transport rails are not suitable for sliding carriages on or off the rails!
Use Mounting Rails (1)
Use dedicated mounting rails (1) when sliding carriages on or off the rail.
Initial Lubrication
Perform initial lubrication of the carriage (except -LV versions which are fully grease-filled).

Transportation and Storage
Transportation and Storage of Carriages
For transportation and storage of carriages, use:
- Mounting rails (1), or
- Transport rails (2)
Ensure carriages do not slip off the rail during transport.
