SCHNEEBERGER recirculating units can be used at operating temperatures from –40 °C to +80 °C (for brief periods, temperatures up to +120 °C are possible).
For type SKC, the temperature range is –150 °C to +200 °C.

10.3 Friction, Running Accuracy and Smoothness
Friction, running accuracy and smoothness
When manufacturing the recirculating units, SCHNEEBERGER places great value on a high level of smoothness. Transitions, run-ins and run-outs or the quality of the synthetic materials are given top priority. This also applies to the rolling elements used, which must satisfy the most stringent quality demands.
For recirculating units under normal operating conditions, a friction factor of 0.005 can be assumed.
