Accessories Overview
AMS 3B uses the same mechanical accessories as MONORAIL MR, including rail hole plugs, cover strips, additional wipers and dust covers. In addition, accessories specific to the measuring system are available, such as signal output interface options, interpolators and connection cables.
Accessory Compatibility
AMS 3B mechanical accessories are fully compatible with MONORAIL MR. All MONORAIL MR carriages can also be used with AMS 3B rails.
Measuring System Output Options
The AMS 3B reading head is integrated within the carriage, offering either analogue output (1 Vpp) or digital output (TTL/RS422).

Important Reminders
- The resolution of the analogue AMSA is determined by the interpolation capability of the downstream evaluation electronics
- The digital output (DR) can be connected directly to a controller
- An incremental system requires a homing procedure after power on
