Accessories Overview
AMS 4B series accessories include signal processing electronics, connection cables, mechanical accessories, etc., ensuring proper operation of the measuring system. Some accessories are compatible with MONORAIL BM series and AMS 3B series.
Read Head Output Options
The AMS 4B read head is integrated within the carriage, no separate ordering required. The output interface type must be specified when ordering the carriage.

Selection Notes
- Analog output (1 Vpp) requires external interpolator for use, can achieve highest resolution
- Digital output can be directly connected to controller, but resolution is fixed
- Cable length affects signal quality, recommend using shortest necessary length
- High-speed applications recommend RS422 differential output
- Cleanroom applications require dust-free lubricating grease
- Accessories must be selected according to specific size specifications
