Designation Format
The complete type designation of the RDDS1 (Rotary Direct Drive System, class 1) uses the following format. Below, each field code and its meaning are matched to a color dot; underlined entries indicate the standard option.
RDDS1 - DxH - X - X - XX - X - X - C - B - R
RDDS1 = Type: Rotary Direct Drive System, class 1
DxH = Size: outer diameter × height [mm]
X = Running accuracy: S = standard (± 10 µm), H = high accuracy (< ± 10 µm, on request)
X = Mounting version: B = base plate, F = flange plate
XX = Connection version: 1st digit C = cable / P = plug / M = cable with tailored plug; 2nd digit A = axial bottom / U = radial up / D = radial down
X = Winding version: WL = low dynamic / WM = medium dynamic / WH = high dynamic
X = Encoder increments (1 Vpp): 3600 / 5400 / 9000 / 18000 / 24000 (dependent on type)
C = Cooling: C = cooling / blank = no cooling (omitted if not selected)
B = Brake
R = Cleanroom, on request
